Liberal activist, actress Jennifer Lawrence said she’s taking a year off acting to “Fix our democracy”
Yep. The Anti-Trump actress said that she’s going to be working with the far-left organization, Represent.Us.
Lawrence said, “It’s just trying to get young people engaged politically on a local level. It doesn’t have anything to do with partisan [politics]” she added. “It’s just anti-corruption and stuff trying to pass state-by-state laws that can help prevent corruption, fix our democracy. And then I don’t know what I’m doing next.”
According to the Washington Times, the 27-year-old visited Ohio high school late last month to teach a class about political corruption. Yeah, you read that right. It’s unsure whether she is deemed to be qualified to lecture in the High School because she is a Hollywood actor or a cast in the Hunger Games since the left-leaning organizations love to talk about qualifications and authority.
The entire “Creative Council” of her group comprises of Hollywood actors, producers and musicians of the left-wing persuasion, including “Supernatural” actor and outspoken anti-Trumper Misha Collins, “Scandal” star Kerry Washington and ultra-liberal Hillary Clinton supporter Elizabeth Banks. But “Represent.Us” ironically claims to be a bipartisan organization seeking to end “secret money” and corruption in America’s election system.
