Israelis Aid Haifa’s 75,000 Fleeing Residents Amid Fire Crisis

The much-delayed new train service will shuttle passengers at up to 160 kilometres per hour from early 2018, minister Israel Katz told journalists during a tour of an underground tunnel
Ordinary Israelis on Thursday were doing what they could to help the 75,000 Haifa residents who were evacuated from their homes due to fires that raged in and around the port city, destroying buildings and wooded areas.
